Horne closing office, managers form new firm

Mississippi-based Horne will soon close its West End office after a 17-year run. Senior managers Bob Whisenant, Geoffrey Stewart and Trent Watrous have launched a new firm. Here’s most of an e-mail from Watrous, pictured here, announcing the change:
The Board of Directors of HORNE has made the decision to leave the Nashville market to focus on the Mississippi and West Tennessee markets. This change will be effective June 19.
I am excited to announce the establishment of a new firm titled, “Whisenant, Stewart, Watrous & Associates, PLLC”. The good news is that you will be working with the same people, at the same location, at the same telephone number, and delivering the same level of service you are accustomed to.
For those having ongoing engagements, a letter informing you of the change will arrive very soon. The letter will also include a release form which must be signed and returned to HORNE.
I appreciate the opportunities you have granted in the past to work together and look forward to assisting you again in the future.
