LP Field makes first World Cup cut

The U.S. Soccer Federation has cut in half the list of potential venues for its 2018 and 2022 World Cup bids and Nashville’s riverfront stadium is among the 37 survivors. Other regional stadiums also still in the running: Neyland Stadium, Legion Field in Birmingham and the Georgia Dome.
