Southeast Venture adds apartment broker
By Geert De Lombaerde Posted on March 8, 2010 at 7:18 am
Tarek El Gammal has joined Southeast Venture as an multifamily property broker, the Nashville firm’s first foray into the arena of apartment sales. Managing Partner Wood Caldwell calls the move a “logical step” in his team’s push to be a soup-to-nuts real estate shop. From the presser:
Mr. El Gammal comes to Southeast Venture from Queen Square Group, LLC a firm that provides consulting services to regional development firms where he was a founder and managing member. Previously, he was vice president at The Tuckerman Group/SSgA, where he sourced $167 million of project capitalization in multifamily acquisition and mezzanine loan financing. He began his career in Atlanta as a property manager with Merry Land & Investment Company before becoming project manager with Equity Residential Properties Trust in Chicago, IL.
