Big Machine lands Rascal Flatts

The other shoe has dropped. When Disney announced in April it was shutting down its Lyric Street label, the House of Mouse said it would transition superstars Rascal Flatts to another section of its music empire. The band declined and this morning said it is teaming up with Big Machine Records, which is run by Nashville Post’s CEO of the Year Scott Borchetta.
