COO promoted to top spot at Word Entertainment

Warner Music Nashville boss John Esposito has named Rod Riley president and CEO of Word Entertainment, the label group’s Christian arm. Riley, who sold Fervent Record to Warner in 2005 and has been COO of Word for two years, succeeds Mark Bright, who is going back to producing music. He has in the past worked with Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts, among others.
