Another franchisor targets Nashville

Glass Doctor, which markets various residential and commercial glass services from almost 400 stores around the country, says Nashville is on its wish list for franchising. The average franchised store rings up about $850,000 in annual revenues.

Illinois restaurateurs eyeing local outpost

The team at Restaurants America plan to bring their Bar Louie concept to Nashville. The company is franchising across the Midwest but this summer had to close its Phoenix-area location.

Pasta chain targets Nashville

Nashville is one of a handful of cities on the franchising wish list of Colorado-based Noodles & Co. The chain, which runs more than 200 stores around the country, sees at least 10 stores in the markets it wants to enter.

Local hotel venture opens first Wyoming site

A franchisee of Hendersonville-based Boomerang Hotels has opened the company’s first location in Wyoming. Boomerang, which in 2006 acquired the GuestHouse brand from ShoLodge and rebranded a year ago, runs more than 70 hotels from Georgia to Washington.

Captain D’s gets nod for minority franchising

The National Minority Franchising Initiative has named Nashville-based Captain D’s one of the top 50 concepts for minorities. Other food companies on the list include McDonald’s and Papa John’s.
