AmeriChoice and Meharry partner for telehealth
Posted on October 27, 2009 at 7:51 amMembers of AmeriChoice by UnitedHealthcare of Tennessee who live in rural or underserved areas will have access to the physicians of Meharry Medical Group via a telehealth network announced Monday. The agreement with Meharry Medical College is an expansion of AmeriChoice’s telehealth program with Community Health Network.
Two local clinic networks to offer behavioral services
Posted on February 12, 2009 at 8:47 amUnited Neighborhood Health Services and Matthew Walker have contracted with AmeriChoice to give TennCare enrollees access to behavioral health care services.
“The integration of primary care and behavioral health in all UNHS centers — including school-based clinics — provides early behavioral intervention, particularly for individuals who may not follow through on behavioral health services on their own,” said Mary Bufwack, CEO of UNHS.
