Central Parking wins Chicago deal

A joint venture between Nashville’s Central Parking and a Chicago company has won a contract to manage almost 4,000 parking spots in the Windy City. The companies expect to start the job — which had been Standard Parking — before the end of the year.

Park ‘em Cowboys
Posted on June 29, 2009 at 9:23 amCentral Parking announced this morning that it has inked a deal with the Dallas Cowboys to handle all parking functions at the team’s Arlington stadium.
Central Parking assumed management of the parking program with the Grand Opening of the Stadium on June 6, 2009. Parking controlled by the Cowboys includes fourteen parking lots surrounding the stadium that provide parking for more than 11,500 vehicles.
With the addition of the Cowboys, the company now works with 28 teams across four professional sports leagues.
Central Parking gets zippy with it

The Nashville-based company is reserving more than 1,000 parking spaces for Zipcars at many of its New York and New Jersey facilities.
Central Parking and Zipcar also will work together to market the preferred program to office buildings, universities, hospitals, residential buildings and developers to promote the convenience and environmental benefits of car sharing. The two companies plan to complete similar agreements in other cities later this year.

Central Parking System, the nation’s largest parking company today announced that it has been selected by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) to operate the parking for a premier multi-use venue featuring the latest state-of-the-art soccer stadium in the United States, The Home Depot Center in Carson, California. This multi-use venue features facilities for soccer, tennis, track and field, track cycling, lacrosse, volleyball, baseball and basketball, and is designated an official U.S. Olympic Training Site. The Home Depot Center is home to three professional sports teams – Major League Soccer’s (MLS) Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA, and Women’s Professional Soccer’s (WPS) Los Angeles Sol. The multi-year contract commenced in December of 2008.
