Eviesays, the online event listing service run by former Scene editor Bruce Dobie, has signed a deal to run the back end of a TV station’s event calendar in Reno., Nev.

The calendar, which will be privately branded to have the look and feel of the Fox 11- Reno website, will enable visitors to find, browse, and interact with the hundreds of thousands of event listings nationwide residing at the eviesays.com website.

The eviesays platform will allow users to export their favorite listings to their personal calendar software, e-mail listings to friends, and get directions from Google Maps to events. Visitors to the site will also be able to submit their own listings via an on-line submissions form to the website.

A woman who was treated two years ago at HCA’s Mountain View hospital in Sin City says staff allowed a man to enter her room and rape her while she was in a ‘coma-like’ state. Company officials say this is the first they’ve heard of the alleged incident.

HCA Nevada nurses want to organize

The California Nurses Association says it has support from more than 400 nurses at HCA’s Mountain View Hospital, saying many are concerned about patient safety. The company’s local executives are pushing back.

“The CNA wants its voice to be heard on this important issue, a voice that makes grandiose promises and so-called guarantees to induce nurses at our hospital to sign union cards,” Wagnon wrote. The voice of the administration “will not be silenced.”

Psych Solutions gets Nevada relo reprieve

A little bit of dispute resolution has allowed the Franklin-based company to continue admitting new patients in Reno. Health regulators continue down the path of license revocation, a move Psych Solutions officials have appealed.

The decision to lift the admission ban, which had been put into effect Tuesday with a notice of summary license suspension, came after talks with hospital representatives in a process called Informal Dispute Resolution. An agreement was reached between state Health Division officials and the hospital to instead appoint a monitor to oversee patient safety at the facility.

Nevada moves to shut down Psych Solutions site

After four patient safety incidents in the past eight months, Nevada health regulators have told Psychiatric Solutions officials they have 30 days to move patients from their Reno center before the doors will be closed.

Psych Solutions has been dogged by similar claims at one of its Chicago-area hospitals for the better part of a year. Shares of the company (Ticker: PSYS) fell more than 12 percent today on the Nevada news, although several analysts are downplaying the financial impact.

“Usually what we’ve seen is headlines around this are a bigger deal than underlying issues,” Bachman said. “It’s a tough population they are serving, so there is likely to always be something going on.”

CCA gets Nevada go-ahead
