Reliant on a roll

The Brentwood-based bank has completed its acquisition of Magna Bank’s Maryland Farms office. Next up are offices in Franklin (slated for October) and Green Hills (January) that will have the three-year-old bank hiring another eight people, pushing its payroll over 60.

Memphis’ Magna Bank is retreating, local player Reliant – which raised fresh capital early this year – is adding to its Franklin-Brentwood-Nolensville footprint.

Young bank hurdles asset milestone

Reliant Bank, which will turn three early next year and this summer posted its first quarterly profit, has reached $300 million in assets.
