BlueCross donates $75K for Rx access
Posted on January 14, 2010 at 8:23 amBlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has donated $75,000 to the Dispensary of Hope. The donation will fund a new medication dispensing site in Chattanooga and four other Tennessee locations. The Dispensary, a nonprofit venture of Saint Thomas Health Services, provides access to prescription medications to the underinsured and uninsured.

The Dispensary of Hope, a six-year-old distributor of excess drugs backed by Saint Thomas Health Ventures, has opened its 36th site in Binghamton, N.Y.
