Local video venture seeks VC

Online video production company StudioNow is one of roughly 60 companies from around the Southeast that will make their pitch for venture capital at a Virginia conference next month. Franklin-based Clayton Associates is among the company’s current backers.

StudioNow hires development chief

Bob Sherry, a veteran of Valueclick and Business.com back in the day, has been named executive vice president of business development at StudioNow, which markets online video production services. Two-year-old StudioNow is backed by Claritas Capital, Clayton Associates and others.
