Lottery sales not slumping

In fact, February was the best month ever for ticket sales.

Hargrove attributes the past month’s activity primarily to “Tennessee Millionaires Club,” an instant-ticket game introduced Feb. 3 that has the highest prize payout percentage of any game in Tennessee Lottery history. The game includes more than $150 million in cash prizes, including 20 prizes of $1 million.

Just maybe, sales could also be up because of this.

Lottery extends ticket supplier deal

The Tennessee Education Lottery has added four years to its contract with Scientific Games, which is worth about $9 million annually. The entities will now work together through 2015 on ticketing and logistics.
