Nashville’s Midtown Printing has picked up the contract to handle the fulfillment for British e-tailer UniversalPoster.com in the Americas, China and Australia. According to Paul Harris, Nashville is perfectly placed geographically for US operations. “Nashville is a great location for distribution purposes. U.K. questions for Live Nation, Ticketmaster

British competition regulators have issued a preliminary ruling against the proposed merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster, saying the deal would limit the ability of a third concert ticket business player to compete. The two companies said they’ll gladly answer any questions, but made clear they are in a changed industry that is at a “decisive crossroad.”

LP launches British invasion

The Nashville-based company is introducing a series of its joists and beams to the United Kingdom construction sector. LP (Ticker: LPX) last year recruited Al Huber, who formerly was with Weyerhauser unit iLevel, to spearhead its British push.
