Warner Nashville to sponsor NASCAR team

The newly formed Warner Music Nashville group of labels has hooked up with BAM Racing to run the 2010 Sprint Cup schedule. Warner Nashville boss John Esposito said the deal with BAM — which took off a year to catch its breath — is a “unique opportunity to extend our artists’ brands.”

Production company Taillight has recruited four entertainment industry veterans to launch its new commercial-making division. Leading the way is Brooke Boling, a former creative director at Warner Bros. Records.

That’s especially true when it comes to the work. It takes great work to break through the clutter, and Taillight has an outstanding track record for doing both.”

Longtime A&R exec Tina Gershon, who left Warner Bros. last summer, has been named senior VP at Warner/Chappell Music, where she will help lead the signing and development of artists.
